Mothman Crewneck // Cozy Cryptid Club [PRE-ORDER Sept 16-26]

When the sun goes down and the moon comes up - we gather all members of The Cryptid Club! With flashlight and notebook in hand, we venture into the forests of Point Pleasant, to the black lochs of Scotland, and the moonlit streets of Fresno in search of our cozy cryptid friends. We are not there to hunt - merely to observe and record the lives of these beautiful, misunderstood beings ☁ 

THE DESIGN

Crewnecks are BACK and this design features moody, forest tones and retro-style colour blocking, along with an illustration and notes on our favourite moth/man hybrid.  This sweater also features a loose fit, drop shoulder, and straight wide sleeve (less puffed than the ones from Don your Vegetables or Into the Darkness). We also heard your cries for lighter-weight sweaters, so these are not fleece lined, but rather a soft jersey knit inside and out. That means they are lighter weight, drape a bit more casually, and won't be quite so toasty (for all you non-Canadians). This crew comes with a collectible, 7x7" camp print! PLEASE NOTE: Items will ~aim~ to be shipped to customers in early to mid December, but we CANNOT GUARANTEE they will arrive for the holidays, especially with expected postal delays during this season, please extend your delivery expectation to early January as well.

THE MATERIAL

These oversized, drop shoulder, jersey knit crewneck sweaters are a lighter weight for a more androgynous and vintage style. These can be machine washed, but it's best to separate it from other items (or use a wash bag) to protect the embroidery, and never put them in the dryer. Ideally to prolong their life, hand wash and always lay flat to dry. Sweaters with embroidery should never be machine dried.

Sweater composite: 95.2% cotton, 4.8% spandex. Sweaters are stretchy with jersey cotton.

Please note: as these are UNISEX sizes, and STANDARD FIT, women/smaller folks should get their standard size for a standard fit, and size up for an oversized fit. Men/larger people should consider sizing up for a standard fit, and double size up if you want oversized fit. We DO offer exchanges and refunds!

THE MODELS ✂ 

Norah (photo 1) is 5'7// 170 and is wearing a medium. 

Dani (photo 4,5) is  5'6"// 168cm.  cm and is wearing a medium.

THE PRE-ORDER  ✂

The pre-order is unlimited, you can get as many as you want and we will not sell out! It will run until September 25th  and limited overstock will be sold in the next month or two after preorders have shipped (January/February). Once the pre-order is closed, I will be emailing with a more definite timeline, and updates as I am able. Production can take anywhere from 1-2 months depending on the quantity ordered, so I offer the longest option first and hope it is faster, but there is no guarantee.

Delays are possible, post can be slower than expected, this is an estimate and I will update all customers if there are delays. PLEASE understand there is only so much I have control over! I know many of you want these for Christmas! Please keep an eye on your inboxes for updates!

SHIPPING ✂

• Sweaters will ship internationally and come with tracked shipping. But there are some countries I am unable to ship to and I am sorry! I hope to offer shipping to all countries in the future.
  
  
• VAT and import duties are the responsibility of the customer! Please also select a SAFE address for your shipment, as once a package is marked as "delivered" we cannot offer refunds or replacements, even if stolen. If you do not pick up your package in time and it is returned, it is at the expense of the customer to pay reshipment fees, and will only be reshipped once the original item has been returned. PHONE NUMBERS ARE MANDATORY FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS.
  
  
• Please understand it is difficult to adjust sizing or colour once your order has been placed, so please read the size chart carefully! I can, however, adjust shipping locations until the week before the sweaters arrive, so please send those to me via the site contact form, or to my email at knockthriceart@gmail.com.
